Primary Responsibilities :

  1. Lead and manage automation projects involving PLCs from Rockwell, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Delta.
  2. Provide leadership and mentorship to the automation team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  3. Make critical decisions and handle team management tasks effectively.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical specialists to achieve project goals.
  5. Coordinate and oversee small to large projects independently, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  6. Apply electrical and controls engineering theories and principles to solve complex problems.
  7. Utilize engineering science knowledge, particularly in logic and programming, to develop and optimize automation systems.
  8. Demonstrate significant electrical aptitude and understanding of acceptable practices, techniques, and codes.
  9. Utilize skills in AutoCAD, MS Office suite, and MS Project to support project planning and execution.
  10. HMI experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, Intellection, and WinCC is a plus but not required.
  11. Lead and manage R&D automation projects, utilizing PLCs from Rockwell, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Delta.
  12. Provide leadership and guidance to the R&D automation team, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  13. Oversee the development and implementation of new automation technologies and methodologies.
  14. Coordinate with multidisciplinary technical specialists to design, test, and refine automation systems.
  15. Independently manage the planning, execution, and evaluation of R&D projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  16. Apply advanced electrical and controls engineering theories and principles to develop innovative solutions.
  17. Utilize expertise in engineering science, particularly in logic and programming, to enhance R&D capabilities.
